Who’s going to HHN tomorrow? I am going to make a whole day out of it. Going to both parks in the morning and then HHN later on.
Will I see you there?
Pardon my language, guys. This is going to be a long post, you have been warned.
I just came home from my first day at HHN22. As promised, I would tell you everything what happened, what I thought of it and if I survived. And I have to say, that last piece almost didn’t happen.
Ok, so I’m exaggerating a bit, but that’s cool. First of all, it’s a Friday night. Universal was open until 2 am, it was absolutely packed. Second of all, the lines for the houses were all 120+ minutes, as were the rides. The Revenge of the Mummy had a 130 minute wait time— can you believe it?!
Some people think this year was really, really bad. And I have to say, I kind of agree. There are no scarezones, but, however, the Legions did do their job pretty well tonight. The first round around the park was mediocre, there were a few good scares here and there, but there also were empty spaces without any scareactors. It was pretty disappointing.
The second time around was way, way better. Walkers hid in the bushes, Prisoners wanted to kill us, it was crazy! We decided on going to the ‘House of Horrors.’ It was approximately 11.45 pm and it had a ‘30 minute’ wait time. Yeah, no. We ended up standing in line for over an hour. I had my doubts. Last year’s ‘Winter’s Night’ scarred me and frankly left me traumatized. I went anyway, and boy it was terrifying. In fact, they scared me so well, I felt tears coming up mid-house. Yes, I wanted to cry. It wasn’t even that scary, but ‘Winter’s Night’ did this to me. The moment we got out, two, no three, tears fell, leaving me in shock for about an hour.
‘Bill & Ted’s,’ no— just no. It was horrible. Half the time I didn’t even know what the hell was going on. Not worth it, guys. ‘20 Penny Circus, fully exposed’ was meh. A few good jokes here and there, but that’s it. It wasn’t good. But it was a great way to end our evening.
Next time, I’ll bring my camera.
Have you been to this year’s HHN yet? Tell me, what did you think?
I had a 14-day flexticket, so I basically was there every day/evening! Haha, what IF we did see each other! That’s so weird. Whoa, mind blown.
On a side note:
Hey guys, sorry for having so many text posts the past few days, just one more, I promise. From now on I will start posting pictures that I’ve taken during my visits at Universal Orlando. I’m a student photographer and though I have my own photography blog, I thought it would be nice to also share them with my fellow Universal fans. I have used several pictures of mine for uswot pictures, so some might look familiar.
Considering I’m going to HHN next month, I thought it would be cool to share those with you as well! Don’t worry, I will keep making those little picture thingies that make uswot what it is. Who knows, it might give some of the fans an up and close inside look of HHN22.
So, what do you guys think?
AWESOME. I hope to see you guys there! I just made a horrible typo and typed ‘guts’ instead of ‘guys’. Yeah.
So, I also have a frequent fear pass and I will definitely be there Oct 18 and on the 26th (which is my birthday, so I hope they won’t kill me with fear). I’ll probably be there on other days as well, I just don’t know the exact dates.
I’m flying in from Amsterdam! This is my second HHN, I know, I’m a n00b.
How many have you guys been to?
Who’s going to HHN22? I’ll be there!
